In this creative DIY workshop, teens will design and craft their own felt name banner to hang in their bedroom, locker, or favorite space. Using colorful felt, ribbons, lace, beads, pom-poms, tassels, and other fun embellishments, participants will customize each letter to reflect their unique style. Whether you love bold colors, cottagecore vibes, or something completely your own, you'll leave with a handmade banner that's as creative and unique as you are. Ages 10-18 Register Here

Have ideas for making the library even better? Join the Teen Advisory Board (TAB)! Each month, teens work together to brainstorm programs, recommend books and materials, plan events, and share feedback that helps shape library services. It's a chance to build leadership skills, earn volunteer hours, meet new friends, and make your voice count. New members are always welcome, come share your ideas and help create a library that's designed with teens in mind!

Get creative and hang out with us for a fun-filled teen paint party hosted by The Vibe, Shelbyville’s local art and music studio! Teens will be guided step-by-step through creating their own pre-stenciled canvas painting, making it easy for artists of all experience levels to join in and create something they’ll be proud of. While you paint, enjoy a Dirty Soda Bar where you can mix and customize your own delicious soda creation! Come ready to paint, sip, laugh, and have a great time with friends!
