Welcome to the Slow Burn Book Club!
We invite all members aged 18 and over to join us on the last Thursday of every month from 6:00-7:30 PM at the Carnegie Library Center.
Ready for spice, thrills, and intrigue? We’ll explore contemporary, buzz-worthy books that feature popular tropes, such as enemies-to-lovers, forbidden romances, unreliable narrators, and hidden secrets. Expect lively discussions that dive deep into themes, characters, and plot twists.
Grave Matter by Karina Halle
A dark romantic thriller that blends gothic, psychological, and science fiction elements. The story follows Sydney Denik, a mycologist who joins a prestigious foundation's research team on a remote island.
